KMTC September intake applicants are asked to revise courses

Applicants to the September intake of KMTC are now urged by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service to change their degree selections.
The KMTC course revision deadline is July 12.
Students were invited to begin enrolling for KMTC courses for the September intake by KUCCPS on June 9.

To find out the status of your application, visit the KUCCPS Student's Portal at http://students.kuccps.net, the placement service advised.KUCCPS stated that anyone who applied for the intake but was not accepted into a course is welcome to select other KMTC courses during the revision period by using the portal. According to KUCCPS, the application was intended for qualified KCSE holders who wanted to enroll in KMTC programs between 2014 and 2023.
"This includes those who applied previously but were not successful," stated KUCCPS.
Only courses when the prerequisites are met will allow applicants to apply.
Applying can be done via the KUCCPS website at www.kuccps.ac.ke or by visiting the student portal at students.kuccps.net.
After selecting the Login option, the student fills in the spaces provided with their KCSE Index Number, KCSE year, and password.
The placement service stated, "Your password is your KCPE Index Number or your Birth Certificate Number."
The student can explore available courses and their prerequisites by clicking "KMTC Programmes" after logging in.
For convenience, KUCCPS advised students to download the PDF document that included information on the various programs that are offered.

"Once you have decided on your preferred courses, you will be required to enter the Programme Codes," said KUCCPS.
Next, the student will select "Apply Now" from the "KMTC Application" option.
The program codes will be entered by the student on the attached form.
According to KUCCPS, applicants should prioritize the program codes.
The placement service stated, "From your most preferred course (No. 1) to your least preferred course (No. 4)."
According to KUCCPS, the applicant should wait for the system to retrieve all program details before clicking submit after inputting the program codes for any course they might be interested in.
Upon submission, the candidate must pay Sh1,500 and the payment instructions will be shown on the portal.
