3 Year old Dies After Eating Remains of Burnt Snake in Kitui

A 3 year old has passed on after consuming remains of a burnt green mamba snake in Kitui county. A police report has revealed that the minor had ate remains of the snake after the grandfather had killed and burnt the snake inside their compound.

It is alleged that the minor had consumed the snake while he was left under the care of his grandmother. The boy died a few hours after he had eaten the remains of the burnt snake.

Neighbours rushed to the scene and reported the matter to Mwingi police station. Police took the body and preserved it at Mwingi level 4 hospital mogue
