DP Rigathi Gachagua: Between a Rock and a Hard Place

Ever since the Kenya Kwanza adminstration took power it has always been apparent that the President's number 2 was not the mountain man.

Musalia Mudavadi has been given roles in shaping Kenya's foreign policy and other very importantant roles, on the other hand Rigathi has been trivialised by being allocated simple laws like fighting illicit brew.

The writing has been on the wall for DP Gachagua from the word go since the UDA wrangles started like a month ago. MPs from his backyard including the majority leader Kimani Ichungwa have been at the forefront of leading the impeachment of the DP.

Gachagua has not had a pinch of salt while going at the president and he has severely reminded the president that he was elected like he was elected.

A Nairobi court has already accepted that the motion to impeach DP Rigathi Gachagua was legal and this was after more than 300 Members of Parliament signed a petition to impeach the embattled DP.
