Safaricom users are shocked by new changes to the reverse call service by introducing a cost on the reverse call service that sees customers receive two free reverse calls, a third reverse call will be charged 50 cents after which the customer can enjoy free reverse calls for the rest of the day.

Reverse call service was introduced to enable customers who did not have airtime but the receiver of the call bears the cost for the call.
The telecommunications giant has found the service to be indispensible and has decided that they will introduce a tariff on for users of the service.
This change means that while the first two calls will be free on a daily basis while the rest of the calls will incur normal rates if the person on the other side will be charged for the call.
