Story of Stephen Wangondo: Man Who Killed Son to Inherit his Wife

In 2021 an incident in Nyeri shocked many people after a young man called Dan Mwangi died fatally after sustaining several wounds. Dan Mwangi Wangondu was coming from party during christmas in 2021 december.

Investigations have revealed that Dan met his deadly fate after his billionaire father organised goons to kill him so that he could inherit his wife.

Dan and his wife were having family altercations and marital problems which led to separation. His father Stephen Wangondu had hosted Dan's wife Njeri and even started a business for her,

This situation had stressed Dan and had led him into depression making him to drink heavily on a daily basis while pondering on how he was going to resolve the situation. Days later he would confront his father about the situation and this led to a violent confrontation between the two.

Angered by this the billionaire father contracted goons through his driver for Kshs160,000 to kill his son. Dan sustained multiple stab wounds while he was trying to go into his house after attending a christmas party.
