Prof Kindiki: IDs to Expire after every 10 years
When being vetted on Thursday as a nominee for the position of CS Interior Prof Kindiki has defended his policy for ID cards to expire and to be renewed every 10years. Kenyans will also be required to pay a fee of Kshs 1000 when applying for identity cards.
When being vetted on Thursday as a nominee for the position of CS Interior Prof Kindiki has defended his policy for ID cards to expire and to be renewed every 10years. Kenyans will also be required to pay a fee of Kshs 1000 when applying for identity cards.
The CS nominee has also said that all Kenyans will be required to have a Maisha Card which is a replica of the famed Huduma number that became redundant.
Prof Kindiki defended the Maisha card and his ID card policy saying that people will have to renew their IDs every 10years because of technoligical advancements.
