The Tragic Story of Kevin Omwenga: Controversial Killing of Kisii Millionaire

On 21st August 2020 a young Kisii man of 28years old was gunned down in Nairobi, the name of the man is a certain Kevin Omwenga who hailed from Mosocho in Kisii county. Under unfortunate circumstances the Kisii millionaire was shot dead in Nairobi by unknown assailants.

To understand the story of Kevin well you have to dig back to his roots back in Kisii county where he was born. Born to a poor family in Mosocho located in Kisii county, Kevin alias Richie Rich was a brilliant boy in school and had a lot of ambition in life.

Kevin's father passed on when he was still a kid and his mother had taken up the role to raise him and his three brothers. An uncle who is a brother to his deceased father had then taken up the role of paying school fees and stomaching bills for their upkeep.

Upon completion of his secondary school studys, Omwenga had passed his examinations with flying colours but financial limitations meant that he could not continue with his studies.

Kevin requested his uncle to move him to the city and his uncle agreed. Upon arrival in the city he did not intend to engage himself in doing casual jobs in the city like his brothers, he had a bigger vision and intended to do more himself and had an eye for the quality things in life.

In the city Omwenga walked into a car yard in westlands and convinced the owner that he was a seasoned salesman and that he wanted to sell cars. The owner of the yard was convinced by the young man's wit and he offered him an opportunity to become a car salesman.

Digital marketing was still growing at the time and Kevin jumped at the opportunity opening socialmedia accounts which he used to advertise the cars at yard. His efforts on social media bore fruits that he became a topshot car sales man in the city.

The young man started minting millions from his car selling ventures and he advanced to selling sportcars and other expensive cars.

Kevin's life changed when he met a young rich Ugandan damsel named Rukia Jamal who he fell in love with. Since he was swimming in money at the time he was able to date Rukia who was equally rich and led a very expensive lifestyle. 

Since selling cars is difficult venture and people dont make sales everyday Rukia came in handy for Kevin because of her resources. She could offer him softloans when business was slow or bail him out of any other financial situations.

The ambitious story of Kevin Omwenga ended tragically in August 2020 morning after a house party at his Kilimani apartment. Allegedly his boss had sent a goon by the name Robert Bodo with a Ceska pistol and he was shot severally putting an end to his life in paradise
