It is reported that Daniel Koikai, the father of Mary Njambi Koikai, died a few hours after expressing sincere regret to her late daughter.

According to reliable sources, Mr. Daniel Koikai passed away on June 14, 2024, Mpasho was informed. It has not yet been made public what caused his death, though.

It is purported that Mr. Koikai died at the time Jahmby Koikai's burial ceremony was ongoing at Lang'ata Cemetery.

Jahmby received an apology from Mr. Koikai on Thursday for his lack of presence in her life during her lifetime.

Jahmby's father, Mr. Koikai, honored his late daughter on June 14, 2024, and took the occasion to confess and beg for her pardon.

He eulogized his daughter with a heavy heart, admitting his own faults as a parent.
Dear Njambi, my daughter, Daniel Koikai said, "It has been one of the most difficult episodes of my life, especially for your close family members - your mother, sister, aunts, uncles, colleagues in the media, and friends in and out of the country. The time has come for me to atone for my acts of omission or commission on your final journey from this world."

"I will think of you in a lot of ways, and I ask that you forgive me now, publicly, for any instances in which I may not have done my part as your father. And I ask that you find eternal peace while you rest. Till we meet again, farewell.

Mr. Koikai also talked about the last precious moments he had with his late daughter Njambi in a different eulogy.

He talked about the highs and lows of their relationship, pointing out that they didn't meet until Njambi was a senior in high school since he had been working overseas while she was younger.

"You really enjoyed meeting me, and we would go shopping and have lunch at various restaurants in the city when things were nice. I sincerely miss our enjoyable moments spent together.

We would spend days or even months without speaking during the difficult periods, which I will always regret because I wasted the opportunity to mend our differences. Koikai, Mr. wrote.
