Protester dies after sustaining head injury in Kisii

Following injuries sustained during the Tuesday demonstrations against the Finance Bill 2024, one protestor in Kisii County has passed away.
He sustained head injuries during the altercation on Tuesday, according to medical professionals at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital.
Three additional people were shot and injured. At numerous homes and businesses, police were thwarting attempts at break-ins.
Two had their thighs shot while an elderly person, 78, a passerby reported fractures in the hands.
