13 Killed During Tuesday's Anti Tax Protests
Police reitarated by using unmeasured force to disperse the angry crowds during yesterdayday's protests and it is now confirmed that atleast 13people were killed.
The head at Kenya Medical association has confirmed that 13 people were killed after police officers indiscriminately shot at protestors during Tuesday's anti tax protests in the country.
In a state of the nation address president Ruto described the protests as treasonous and ordered security forces to use all means to eliminate threats to national security.
Protestors shocked Kenyan legislators after they stormed parliament disrupting the houses activities. MPs had to be whisked away after the angry youths penetrated parliament buildings.
In Uasin Gishu county where the president hails from, protestors burned down a court, the Governors office, Police station and even looted a high end restraunt belonging to Kapseret's MP Oscar Sudi.
In other incidences protestors burned down the home of Budget Committee Chairman Kimani Kuria and even went to the extent of setting City Hall ablaze.
