Human Rights groups have now said that 21people have been abducted ever since anti tax protests rocked the country on monday. Most of the people who have been abducted or have disappeared are social media activists and political commentators. Below is a list of those who are missing.

1) Gabriel Oguda: a reknown blogger and columnist went missing on monday morning. He wrote on X platform that police were outside his door.
2) Kevin Monari alias Osama Otero: The Social Media influencer hosted spaces that talked about rejecting the finance bill.
3)John Frank Ngemi, a blockchain developer, was taken on Monday afternoon, according to a statement released by Web3/Blockchain Communities of Kenya. The statement said that “four armed individuals abducted” Ngemi from the Beast Athletics offices in Kahawa Sukari. “This incident underscores the growing threats innovators and pioneers face in the tech industry,” it added.
