KISII MCAs FIGHT OVER IMPEACHMENT BILL

Kisii county MCAs fought each other on the floor of the house after they disagreed on a bill to impeach CECM Public Administration Dr Alfred Ndemo.

The bill seeks to remove Ndemo from office on ground for abuse of office. Impeachment or not new in the Kisii assembly as months ago the assembly passed a bill to impeach Deputy Governor Dr Robert Monda.

There were dramatic scenes at the house in Kisii today after the mover of the motion Bogeka MCA Richmond Manani stood to move the motion, MCAs opposed to the motion had a go at him and exchanged jabs on the floor of the house.

Pandemonium broke loose at the Kisii assembly failed to agree on a method of casting their votes regarding the impeachment motion.
