Police are looking into reports of a break-in at a business center management office in Nairobi's Kamkunji neighborhood, where Sh2.7 million was allegedly taken.

Police were informed by Kamkunji Business Center managers that the break-in happened late on Sunday, February 11.

When police got to the site, the on-duty guards were nowhere to be found, and it's not clear if they were taken hostage.

According to the police, the accused burglars unlocked the main door to enter. They believe the break-in and heist may have been made easier by an inside job.

There hasn't been an arrest yet.

In another incident, two private homes at Century Garden along Kindaruma Road in Kilimani, Nairobi, were broken into by alleged thugs who took Sh380,000 in cash and electronic items.

Initially, the group broke into a Chinese national's home and threatened to kill or hurt a house helper who happened to be there.

After that, they broke into the surveillance cameras and looted the residence, taking the money with them.

They stole items from the second house, which belonged to a Chinese national who was not at home.

They took watches, other valuables, and Sh150,000 that were hidden in a drawer from within.
