Keter declared that, if necessary, he is prepared to run against President William Ruto in the upcoming presidential election in an undated video recorded in Nakuru.
He maintained that he possessed all the necessary tools to challenge the Kenya Kwanza administration.
"Wabunge hapa na watu wote wanaunga mkono serikali naona." Hata vile Raila ametoka sasa mimi ndio nimeshikilia opposition vizuri hata mimi. We have all we need, "Ketter remarked. Hata kama ni kuwania urais tutawania.
This means something like, "I see all the MPs here, and everyone is in favor of the government." Even with Raila's departure, I am the opposition and the one keeping them strong. We will run for the presidency, even if it means losing. All we require is here."

Raila's campaign to take over as chair of the African Union Commission was the subject of his statements.
Politically speaking, the government has pledged to assemble a team to advocate for Raila around the continent, lending support to the bid from all quarters.
Raila is the one receiving a job, according to Keter, who criticized the Kenya Kwanza administration for failing to deliver on their promises to improve the lives of impoverished Kenyans and generate work for them.
He claimed that despite being from the Rift Valley, he does not want to be a part of those who claim to be in positions of power.
The former MP went on to say that he is likewise opposed to working for the current administration.

According to Keter, all he wants to do is speak the truth in order to improve the nation.
"Sasa naskia wameandika Raila atapelekwa AU. Raila ni mama mboga ama mtu wa boda boda? Hii kusema serikali ni yetu ni ya watu wanaenda kula chakula state house. Wale wanataka kula wakule mimi siwezi kula na siandikwi kazi. Mimi ni kusema ukweli ili Kenya ibadilike."
Keter went on to say that he could change the nation if given the chance.

With the correct leadership, Kenya may become much like other developed nations worldwide, he said.
"Like other countries, this one can be delivered and has a lot of potential. such as Singapore, South Korea, and other nations."
