After a protracted battle with blood clots on his leg, veteran actor John Okafor, often known as Mr. Ibu, passed away. In a Lagos state hospital on Saturday, March 2, the actor passed away.
Due to broken blood arteries, the actor battled blood clots on his leg for years in addition to other health problems.
He came forward in October 2023 to ask for money to treat his illness. His doctors determined he wasn't well enough to travel, despite the plans to send him overseas for further medical attention.
As part of his rehabilitation, he underwent a leg amputation in November 2023.
The actor's spouse and kids are still alive. It was 1962 when he was born.
