REGGEA MAESTRO NJAMBI KOIKAI IS DEAD

Famous reggae MC and radio superstar Njambi Koikai is dead. The news has been broken by ODM spokesperson Phillip Etale this morning.

In a passionate post on X formally known as Twitter Etale meditated on how they were good friends with Njambi and how he was totally heartbroken by Njambi’s demise

“Fare thee well my friend, sister and just best friend Fyah Mummah Jahmby Koikai. That beautiful smile, the phone calls we had talking about many things including our days at KBC back in the day, your mastery of Maragoli language and the jolly moments you shared with those you knew. You had a big family, just a big one… go well my friend,” Etale posted on X.

It is heartbreaking for everyone who loves reggae in Kenya and outside the country. We will miss a true icon in musical journalism and for reggae fans in Kenya. It is also a huge disappointment to everyone in the entertainment industry......R.I.P Fyah Mammah
