In a hotly contested FKF Premier League encounter at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Kisumu, Tore Bobe emerged victorious against Muhoroni FC.
In a 2023–24 FKF Premier League game on Monday afternoon at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Kisumu, Shabana FC overcame a goal down to defeat Muhoroni FC 2-1.
Matthew Tegisi and Enock Agwanda scored goals quickly to give the Glamour Boys the victory. As a result, they remain in 17th place, one point below Muhoroni in 16th, with both teams in the drop zone.
Following a cautious start from both sides, Shabana's first opportunity came in the eighteenth minute when Samuel Maiko struck a low volley from beyond the box, but Muhoroni goalkeeper Morgan Ambuka easily stopped it. Slowly but surely, the hosts rediscovered their offensive rhythm. In the 32nd minute, Regan Otieno came dangerously close to scoring, but Shabana goalkeeper Fredrick Odhiambo made a great save to keep him out of the goal.
Shabana continued to exert offensive pressure, but in the 41st minute, Lucky Ochieng scored a goal against the run of play to give the hosts a 1-0 lead. Muhoroni pulled off a stunning comeback.
