BANDARI FINDS A NEW LOCATION FOR FK-PL HOME MATCHES

Mombasa Sports Club and Ukunda Showground have been confirmed as the home league match venues for FKF Premier League team Bandari FC, after the FKF's consent.
Head coach Francis Baraza said Mombasa Sports Club would host the games classified as low-risk, while high-risk matches will take place at Kwale's Ukunda Showground.
It will be April 13 when the squad hosts Bidco United at home for their next home game. Attempting to close the distance between them and leaders Gor Mahia, they visit Ulinzi Stars at Ulinzi Sports Complex on Saturday.
According to Baraza, before FKF-PL matches are held, the two grounds are presently receiving cosmetic renovations in accordance with FKF's suggestions.
"After an inspection by FKF, we have the go-ahead to hold our remaining home matches at the two locations. The two locations will be adjusted to better meet the suggestions.
Additionally, he stated that the team's present momentum—which has kept them solidly in the title fight and just seven points behind leaders Gor Mahia—will not be affected by the new location.
We don't need to worry that we won't do well away from Mbaraki because we are accustomed to all of these locations. Our home field is really significant, but once more, I think the keys are perseverance and focus, so even when we're not in Mbaraki, we can still win.
It is anticipated that Bandari's home field, Mbaraki Sports Club, which was closed last month for renovations, will reopen in September, in time for the 2024–25 FKF–PL season.
For visiting teams, Mbaraki has been a nightmare since Bandari has transformed their house into a fortress, and Gor Mahia was their most recent victim, ending their winning streak.
On March 9, Bandari won 1-0, crushing the winners' chances of finishing the season unbeaten.
Before the facility was closed for repairs, it was Bandari's final home game.
