WOMAN IN CUSTODY AFTER REPORTING HER HUSBAND STABBED AND KILLED HIMSELF

Following her assertion that her husband had stabbed himself to death in Machakos Town, a 25-year-old lady is being held by police.

Long after he passed away, the 26-year-old's body was discovered on a sofa set.

The deceased man died from stab wounds he gave himself on his chest with a kitchen knife, the woman told the authorities.

On Sunday, March 10, the incident took place.

Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered the body lying in a pool of blood, seated on a sofa, with a stab wound on the right side of his neck.

The suspected murder weapon, a kitchen knife, was found and preserved as evidence.

In anticipation of a postmortem, the body was taken to Machakos Funeral Home.

According to police, the woman is being held to assist with the incident's investigation.

For the present, the team is looking into murder. However, the reason is still unknown.

Only the two were inside the house when the incident occurred, according to the police.
