35YEAR OLD MAN AT LARGE AFTER DEFILING 13-YEAR-OLD IN NYAMIRA

A 35-year-old man is at large after he defiled and impregnated a 13-year-old girl. The girl is said to have been studying in grade 4.

The man who is well known and is a relative to the girl, had requested her grandmother to let the girl move to the man’s house to help his nursing wife who had given birth to twins.

Speaking to Ndizi TV journalists the grandmother while at Nyamira Teaching and Referal Hospital said that she had been left with a huge burden as she is impoverished, sick and unable to work.

The old woman has beseeched authorities to look for the man, and help her young granddaughter to get justice. She has also appealed to well wishers to afford her any help whether material or monetary.

The girl gave birth at a maternity ward in Nyamira yesterday. The said man is at large but authorities are on the lookout for him.
