Kalonzo Musyoka, the leader of Wiper, stated, "If BPS is any indication, Kenyans need to tighten their belts because Kenya Kwanza is coming for them in the new wave of taxes."
"We commit to reject any further taxation by this regime," he continued.
At the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation (JOOF) in Nairobi, the former vice president presided over the Azimio Summit gathering before speaking.
Former presidential candidate George Wajackoya, DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa, National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi, and former governors Mwangi Wa Iria (Murang'a) and Nderitu Muriithi (Laikipia) were present during the afternoon meeting.
