Kisii County Governor Simba Arati appears before the senate to answer questions regarding Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital
The Head had a lot to answer from Kisii Senator Onyonka. Among the questions Arati had to answer were the issue of 25m worth of machines that were bought for the hospital, The issue of KEMSA, and the strategies placed to pay the 59M debt, work, and employees being insurance among many imposed questions.
In regards to the machines, Governor Arati defended himself by stating he was awaiting information from the Police. Surprisingly, Arati, the KEMSA and drug issue, received a plaque for paying off his obligation on schedule.
