The poor infrastructure in public primary and secondary schools in the counties has led to decrease in enrollment in the schools.
Bomachoge Borabu MP Obadiah Barongo said that he will a three-class room strategy for every public school in the constituency.
“The landmark developments will provide modern learning facilities and symbolize his commitment to improving education the constituency,” he said.
Kitutu Chache North MP Japheth Nyakundi has said that poor infrastructure has led to poor academic results in public schools.
“I believe that poor infrastructure is a major reason for the continued poor performance in national infrastructure,” he said.
Bonchari MP Charles Onchoke said that more than 80 schools in his constituency are in a precarious situation and need immediate renovation.
On his part West Mugirango MP said that much needed to be done and that they would put a consorted effort to help schools so that they can motivate pupils and teachers alike.
Nyaribari Chache legislator Zaheer chanda said that he was going to increase allocation from his CDF to building of classrooms in his constituency.
According to Nyaribari Masaba MP Daniel Manduku their plan is to modernize public schools so that they can compete favorably with private schools.
