MAGARINI MP ELECTIONS NULLIFIED BY SUPREME COURT

The election of Magarini MP Harrison Kombe has been nullified by supreme court. Harrison Kombe was found guilty of election offenses like ballot stuffing and altering of election results.

The judgement was given unanimously by Justice Smokin Wanjala, Njoki Ndungu and Justice mohammed Ibrahim this morning.

The judges said that the court of appeal judges were right in nullyfying his election because he engaged in irregularities and grossly violated section 83 of the Elections Act.

The bench ordered IEBC to declare the Magarini constituency seat vacant and to conduct a by eleclection subsequently in accordance with the law. They also ordered that Harrison Kombe will pay all the costs of the case
