MAN TAKEN INTO ARREST AFTER KILLING 8-YEAR-OLD BOY, INJURING LADY AT HIS EX-LOVER'S HOUSE IN KIAMBU
Police say the man broke into the house, killed the kid by stabbing him to death, and then tried to kill the house girl, who had set off an alarm that would have alerted the neighbors.
Kiambu County police have taken into custody a suspect who killed an 8-year-old boy and injured a lady in the Ndenderu region.
The youngster was reportedly waylaid by the suspect outside the gate where the minor resides with the man's ex-lover.

The suspect tried to get away, but he slipped into a pit, making it impossible for police and Kiambu firefighters to extract him.
The man's ex-lover, who was also inside the residence, escaped the assault and gave a police statement.
While the boy's body is being examined by an autopsy at Kihara Hospital Mortuary, the injured woman is being treated at Kiambu Level 5 Hospital.
