THE PRINCIPAL OF THE SCHOOL WHERE A FORM ONE STUDENT DIED TEN DAYS AFTER ENROLLING RECALLS THE FINAL HOURS

The dead named Emmanuel Kirimi by the school's head in a now-viral TikTok video. Kirimi had enrolled ten days before his passing. "On Wednesday, January 26, 2024, around 10:40 am, the student reported having a stomachache.

He reported to the school chaplain, who was the first person to see him, and she suggested that he drink some water first while plans were being made for him to have his tea at 10:40 a.m., Muema said. The Form One student asked a classmate to accompany him to the bathroom, according to Muema.

"His peers alerted the prefects after the student passed out on the way back. As soon as the deputy principal told me, I assigned a teacher to take him to the hospital. The youngster was talking and conscious by now, the head of the school stated.

Muema added that the hospital is located roughly 800 meters away from the school. The head of the school reported that the teacher was accompanied by two prefects and another instructor.

The family asked for the body to be taken to Chiromo Mortuary so that a postmortem could be performed there before their physician, according to the principal of the school.

Muema stated that he had informed the parents of the school's actual stance regarding the issue.

Immanuel Kirimi's educational journey took a fresh turn when he was accepted into Kilungu Boys High School for his Form One on January 15.

However, the bright young student's life was cut short under unknown circumstances when he died barely ten days after enrolling in the institution.

Kirimi`s parents received a call informing them that their son had complained of a stomachache and had sadly passed away in less than two hours.

But when the bereaved parents saw their son's body at the mortuary and saw obvious head injuries on his forehead, the scenario took a confusing turn.

 Although the teen's cause of head injuries is unknown, it became known that multiple other schoolboys had been hospitalized for fractures.

Kirimi's untimely passing has shocked the school community and left his parents in deep sorrow. The tragic event has made it clear that officials must address pupils' safety within the facility. Now that their son has passed away, Kirimi's parents are experiencing even more intense grief due to the disturbing revelation of the injuries he suffered. Many are left wondering about the school's safety precautions and looking for information about what happened before his untimely death.
