It was a feisty match between the Manchester rivals, but United looked the more likely and were off the mark with Garnacho putting the ball into an empty net amid confusion and lack of communication between Ederson and his defence.
Manchester United grew into the match and were more dominant as the match continued, the red devils would go two up after teenage sensation Kobbie Maino placed a delicate ball into Ederson's left bottom corner.
There were lovely scenes as United lifted the FA Cup trophy after a rather disappointing season that saw them finish 8th in the premier league missing the European positions. Erik Ten Haag will breath a huge sigh of relief because the win at Wembly will mean that United have qualified for Next season's champions league competition.
For City they will obviosly be disappointed because Pep Guardiola always wants his team to win trophies and has insisted on this as City manager. United were the biggest winners securing both a trophy and qualification for next years UEFA Champions League.
