Alex and Alan became the first identical twins to became pilots at Alaska Airline in the US.
Alex and Alan became the first identical twins to became pilots at Alasaka Airline in the US. Their amusement with planes started when they were three years old and even interacted with them during the course of their parents’ travel.
Their mother supported their love for planes by gifting them a Microsoft Flight Simulator program which helped to support their program.
“After I started playing with the program that was it, I knew I wanted to fly for a job,”Alan said in an interview with the plane.
He was pleased to join his brother at Alasaka airline following their completion of his flight simulator training, after working for a regional airline.
“We never flown together professionally because we’ve been on different aircrafts. The goal is to have one of us to upgrade to captain and be operating the same aircraft so we can fly together,” said Alex.
It’s uncommon for family members of pilots to be allowed to fly together due to intricacy of the airline’s operation but the brothers plan to make their dreams to come true.
