MP Apologizes for Voting YES On Finance Bill 2024
After voting in favor of the Bill's passage, which has generated violent protests and resulted in protestor deaths, he begged his constituents for forgiveness.
After President Ruto announcement on Wednesday 26th June that he withdraws the Finance Bill 2024, Central Turkana MP Joseph Namuar has apologised to his constituents for voting in favour of the now-withdrawn Finance Bill 2024.
According to Namuar, who is also a fervent supporter of the United Democratic Party (UDA), President William Ruto's decision not to sign the Bill into law has opened the door for discussion.
Additionally, after voting in favor of the Bill's passage, which has generated violent protests and resulted in protestor deaths, he begged his constituents for forgiveness.
