NYAMIRA BOYS TEACHER COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER LOSING BET

After losing a bet at an online casino, a teacher at Nyamira Boys High School is said to have passed away by committing suicide.
Kelvin Omwenga, the deceased, committed suicide inside his rental home on Wednesday night, according to Johnson Manyara, the chief of assistance for Nyamira Township.
"After learning from the public that a teacher had allegedly committed suicide, I went straight to his house and discovered his lifeless body," Manyara stated.
He gave the explanation that after giving birth, his wife had gone upcountry. Additionally, Hey had disclosed that his parents were ill, and the dead had instructed his wife to visit them to check on them.
The principal of Nyamira Boys, George Onkundi, expressed his shock at hearing of Omwenga's passing.
The principal said the deceased was employed by the school's Board of Management and he had been at Nyamira Boys for four years.
He continued by saying that the deceased never showed any symptoms of suffering and that he had borrowed money from his coworkers.
According to a fellow educator at Pethuel Mongare School, the deceased educator frequently borrowed funds from him, promising to reimburse them "soon." I was equally startled to learn of his passing on Tuesday, when we last spoke.
