The Story of Evans Kiratu: Man Who Died due to Police Brutality Last Week

21 year old Evans Kiratu has died at Kenyatta National Hospital after police officers beated him and injured him brutally during Thursday's anti-financial bill protests.An aunt to Evans Kiratu says the 21year old died after a teargas carnister was lodged at a protesting crowd and had hit his private parts.

Anotherprotestor by the name Rex Kanyike also lost his life during last week's protests. members from both families are demanding for justice for their sons.

Members of his family confirmed the death of their son after arriving at Kenyatta National Hospital mogue where the body of their son was laid after he died.

A post mortem will be undertaken on the body of Evans Kiratu to verify the true cause of his demise.
