Nine more category-A media companies have asked to sell their licenses, according to the regulator.
In its most recent sweep, the Communication Authority of Kenya shut down six courier services and over 58 television stations that are currently in operation throughout the nation.
Among the prominent stations impacted are Harvest Family TV, Daystar TV, Pwani TV, Mt. Kenya TV, Christian Faith TV, Kwese Free Sport, and Mitume TV.
