Following an attempted robbery of a supermarket on Nairobi's Raphta Road, two suspected thieves were shot and killed by police on Sunday night.

Two other suspects abandoned their motorcycle around Gitanga Road and fled in the direction of Kawangware. They were able to escape.

The motorcycle they utilized for the assignment, as well as a handgun containing six bullets and two knives, were found on the dead men, according to Nairobi police chief Adamson Bungei.

As they got ready to close the store for the day, watchful supermarket employees discovered the suspects carrying concealed guns.

The attendants called the police right away, sparking a quick but deadly chase.

While the deceased's remains are being identified and examined at the mortuary, police are currently looking for the fleeing suspects. To combat the increasing number of armed robberies, Bungei stressed that they have stepped up operations within the city.

In Ruiru, authorities in Ruiru are searching for a group that went to the Gatongora region in search of land for construction, and then attacked and stole from them.

Two males pulled up on a motorcycle while the party was on a site tour.

They informed the authorities that as they were being told to lie down and turn in their money and valuables, one of the men pulled out a revolver and fired twice.

It was approximately three o'clock in the afternoon on February 10.

After taking 15 different cell phones from the group and an unspecified sum of cash, they quickly left the area.

Upon their arrival, the police found one expended cartridge. According to authorities, no arrests have been made about the shooting and heist thus far.

These kinds of accidents are frequent at building sites and places where people go to look at potential development locations.

The groups responsible for the incidents typically act in this way because they know the guests have money and other valuables.

For their protection, police typically encourage victims to assist the perpetrators.
