WILLIAM RUTO: I DID NOT SPEND 200MILLION ON MY USA TOUR

After his historic visit to the USA, president William Ruto called for a national prayer meeting that was held at Safari Park Hotel. In his absence from the country there has been a war of words between leaders allied to him and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

In his address the president retaliated his commitment to growing the economy and to form beneficial partnerships by strengthening bilateral ties with other countries in the world.

“As a steward I have the responsibility to run the country with integrity, when I saw a debate in Kenya as to how I travelled to USA people exaggerated that I spent 200m,” Ruto said.

Ruto defended his tour and said that he only spent 10million on hiring the UAE based aviation firm plane and called out leaders who said that he spent 200million on the plane.
