Authorities are looking into the circumstances surrounding the kidnapping of an enforcement officer from Siaya County, who was found in the Hamisi district of Vihiga in a bag tied with a nylon rope.
Nicholas Oluoch, the victim, was discovered conscious but with injuries on Thursday morning. He went missing on February 26.
When he was found, he had a black piece of clothes knotted over his face and was complaining of back and chest agony.
A police report that Capital News was able to get stated, "It was reported through a phone call that there was an injured male adult at the roadside near Boyani Mudindi area."
"Siaya County government enforcement officer Nicholas Oluoch was identified as the victim by Gambogi police station officers who hurried to the scene."
The victim claims that he was dumped off at that place on Monday night after being kidnapped by an unidentified individual.
Before the man was sent to Mbale County Referral Hospital, where he is receiving treatment, crime scene investigators took pictures of the scene.
