Elijah Obebo Sweared in as Deputy Governor

Today Kisii county government is conducting a swearing in ceremony for nominated Deputy Governor Elijah Obebo at Kisii Stadium.

Governor Simba Arati nominated his Director for County Public Service Commission to become his new deputy after the impeachment of Dr Robert Monda after he was found guilty for several counts of graft and gross violation of the constitution.

Dr Monda had filed cases in court to reverse his ouster as deputy governor but after a court ruling Elijah Obebo will be sworn in as the new Deputy Governor.
