The MCA is still recovering at Nairobi's Karen Hospital after suffering severe injuries.
Tuesday's deadly collision happened at Kivwe in Embu County when Ali's Subaru Legacy struck an oncoming double cabin head-on on the Meru-Embu Road.

After being transported to Nairobi for specialized treatment, the three badly injured people were taken to Ena Hospital for treatment.
The Deputy Speaker was reportedly in the passenger seat at the time of the collision. He complained of chest symptoms, dislocated his left knee, and received a serious cut on his head.
Mwenda Ali reportedly drove from Meru to Nairobi to see his wife off before she took a plane to India for medical care.
When the loud noise that woke the locals to the scene revealed that Ali's automobile was on fire, they say. To save the stranded victims, they stopped the road, which resulted in heavy traffic on that route.
There were four people inside the Subaru Legacy, according to Embu County Commander Nicholas Maina, three of whom survived but had serious injuries.
"We have initiated inquiries to determine the cause of the mishap," Maina stated.
Since some accidents were preventable, he advised drivers to drive carefully.
"To prevent further deaths, drivers should abide by traffic laws."
For examination, the debris was hauled to the Embu West Police Station.
