ARATI NOMINATES ELIJAH OBEBO FOR DEPUTY GOVERNOR` S SEEAT
Elijah Obebo is serving as the current chairman of the County Public Service Board.
After the ouster of former DG Dr Monda, the 2010 constitution dictates that the governor should nominate a new DG within 14 days.
Today Kisii County Governor Simba Arati has nominated Elijah Obebo to become the new Deputy Governor.
The announcement was made by Kisii County Assembly speaker Phillip Nyanumba in a session at the county assembly.
Elijah Obebo is serving as the current chairman of the County Public Service Board.
Kisii County MCAs will now have a session to discuss Elijah’s suitability for the role and subsequently make a vote.
