IAN NJOROGE CHARGED AT A NAIROBI COURT
19-year-old Ian Njoroge, who assaulted a traffic police officer on Sunday at Kamiti road in Mirema is now accusing police officers for mistreating him during the arrest.

Yesterday, Ian was arraigned before Milimani Court Principal Magistrate Hon.Ben Mark for offences of robbery with violence.
Through his defence, Dancan Okatch and Vincent Lempaa, Njoroge also played a short video as an exhibit in court where he showed traffic officer Job Ogendo mishandling him in his car and inflicting hi m with injuries.
His Advocate claimed that at the police station where Njoroge was detained, he was beaten by police officers and the clothes he wore had blood stains. His defence added that the police took photos of him and confisticated his phone and student identification card.
Ben Mark Ekhubi released him on a bond of Ksh.100000 with an option to pay cash bail of Ksh.60000.
