Kisii County Chief Finance Officer Sentenced to 6 Months in Prison
Kisii county Chief Finance Officer Vincent Okioma was yesterday arraigned in court and sentenced to a jail term of 6 months, this is after he failed to remit compensation of Ksh 8.9million that had been imposed on him by the Kisii court.

The trader David Oyugi had gone to court after the Kisii County government wrongfully closed down his construction site. A court had proceeded to rule that the Kisii based trader was to be compensated with Ksh 8.9 million, which the county government failed to remit to him within the stipulated time.
The county boss was bundled into a police land rover outside Kisii Law Courts and was taken to Kisii Maximum Prison where he will serve a jail term not exceeding 6 months.
