A young Kisii lawyer and businessman has won the hearts of many Netizens for his subtility in imitating president Ruto's speeches and mannerisms. During GenZ uprising and demos Kebaso came up with the idea of counter attacking the president’s speeches almost as a mockery of the top man’s speeches.
Morara uses the president’s techniques of rhetoric like standing on top of sunroof SUVs while delivering his speeches or standing behind podiums complete with the coat of arms. He also imitates the presidents voice and mannerisms like wearing short sleeve kaunda suits.
"I have always had this suit with me. It had been sitting in my closet. So, when I came up with the idea to impersonate the President, I simply went back to the closet and wore the suit," Kebaso says.
A video in which he is giving an address to the nation on TikTok has now garnered over a million views and accrued thousands of likes.
Known to few people months ago the young lawyer has now become a darling to many internet users with his top-notch imitation and mockery of the president’s speeches.
"I did not expect this kind of reaction," he says. "It just happened. I was not even on TikTok, I just joined in July and quickly got thousands of followers. Clearly, Kenyans can resonate with my content."
Morara Kebaso is a lawyer and businessman that employs over 85 Kenyans in the furniture industry.
