Nairobi Estates' governor, Johnson Sakaja, has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that noise pollution is reduced.

He said that youngsters attending school were being harmed by loud music from nightclubs located in estates.

"Nightclubs will no longer be allowed in our estates. He declared, "There is no way our kids will be doing their schoolwork when nightclubs are blasting loud music around the neighborhood.

Sakaja further disclosed that the NTSA report, which indicates that drunk driving is a significant cause of traffic accidents and fatalities in the city, was the basis for the current crackdown on wine and spirits stores and small bars near bus terminals.

Speaking in Lang'ata Sub-County, the governor attended a Sunday service at ACK St. Paul South C Parish and spoke with congregants.

After that, Governor Sakaja joined worshippers at the AIPCA in Kayole.

The Governor earlier attended the PCEA Gateway Church Service in Roysambu Constituency alongside Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
