Ruto has Rejected Finance Bill 2024

In a state address today at statehouse the president has said that he will not sign the Finance Bill 2024/2025.

This is amid growing tensions in the country due to the ongoing anti-tax protests.

Gen Zs protests were headed to statehouse tomorrow in what was dubbed as the occupy statehouse and total shutdown.

The president has said that he is going to listen to the young people in the country. 
President Ruto has now listened to the calls of young people and has said that the Finance Bill will be withdrawn.
