Safaricom: We Did Not Share Location Details of Gen Z protestors

Kenyan telecommunication giant Safaricom has come out and strongly refuted claims that they shared details of locations of Gen Z protestors with security agencies leading to kidnappings and abductions of the young protestors.

The Telcom giant has been forced to respond today after famous content creator Khalif Khairo in a TikTok post said that Safaricom was collaborating with state security agencies to track anti-finance bill protestors.

Several protestors including George Oguda and Osama Otero were arrested after police officers raided their homes.
