The Story of Morara Kebaso: Kisii Gen Z Lawyer Exposing Ghost Government Projects

Morara Kebaso is a young Kisii lawyer and businessman who has stirred the internet by subtly imitating president Ruto while auditing and exposing fake or ghost projects that have been launched by the head of state.

The story of Morara Kebaso is inspired by his great grand father and grand father who were both at the frontline of fighting against oppression in the days after Kenya attained independence.

"My great grandfather Senator John Kebaso was the first Senator for Gusii region in the majimbo system after indepennce while my grandfather George Morara was the MP West Mugirango," Morara Narrates.

Clearly, Morara Kebaso has a pedigree of seasoned politicians and he believes that his grandfather George Morara lost his life in unclear circumstances, claiming that he was assasinated because of his deep interest in uncovering the murder of freedom fighter Tom Mboya.

Morara Kebaso understands that his cause is anoble one but it might lead him to the fate of his grandfathers but has deep believe that his actions may quell corruption in the country.

"What I am doing is extremely risky because I am pursing corruption, people who are involved in embezzlement of government are extremely powerful," Morara said.

Morara emerged as one of the top students in Nyanza region as he emerged fifth proceeding to Maseno school for his post primary education. He was later expelled from Maseno after he had an altercation with some of his teachers.

 He explains that he had no intention of becoming a lawyer because most of his kin were already in the profession, but he somehow found himself in the career and it inspired his activism.

The young lawyer is now very famous and the talk of town after his videos started trending online for how he subtly imitates president Ruto and how he has been exposing ghost projects across the country.
