As they walked from Kenyatta National Hospital along Hospital Road, they said, "Nakhumicha must go!"
On Friday, the strike reached day nine.
The doctors, clad in their professional gear of blue surgical caps and white coats, declared that they would not report to work until their concerns were resolved.
The doctors marched in unison down the bustling road, dancing to unknown sounds.
Banners with the slogan "It's the government on strike, not doctors" were seen.
Whistles and trumpets were also heard during the doctors' accusations that the Ministry of Health was working with the county government to deny them their rights.
Reuben Kigame, a candidate for president in 2022, also joined the physicians.
The physicians are requesting that the government pay the basic salary arrears for physicians by the 2017 collective bargaining agreement, as well as promptly post medical interns.
In earlier replies to the physicians, the ministry said that posting and paying interns would cost Sh4.9 billion, a sum that Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha claims her ministry does not have.
