Dormitory as well as other assets were destroyed in the fire.
According to police, the incident on Wednesday night resulted in no injuries being reported.
Around 110 girls were displaced by the fire. As the children were in their prep courses, the police said, the fire started.
Flames engines that arrived minutes later put out the flames. Collaborating to contain the fire and rescue valuables was also done by the school community.
In an attempt to assist in containing the fire, a group of young people attempted to force their way into the school compound and were repelled by police.
Due to concerns that the gang may harass the females while inside the compound during the confusion caused by the fire, the security officers said they decided to scatter the group.
Authorities stated they are still unsure of the fire's origin.
While on-site on Thursday, a group of security personnel declared that investigations are still proceeding.
They declared that every pupil was present.
They claimed to have accounted for every pupil.
