EASY COACH BUS INVOLVED IN GRISLY ACCIDENT IN KISUMU KILLS ONE PERSON

One student has passed on while several others have sustained various injuries when a easy coach bus transporting Chavakali high school boys to Nairobi was involved in a deadly road accident.

The students were breaking for their April holidays and had acquired transport services from easy coach. The carnage occurred on a blackspot on the Kakamega-Kisumu highway.

According to Kondele police station base commander Charles Kisienga the driver lost control of the bus while negotiating the mamboleo junction roundabout causing the bus to overturn.

Students that sustained injuries were rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral hospital.

The dead student was also preserved in the hospital’s morgue. The wreckage of the bus was towed to Kondele police station awaiting further investigations.
