Kisii Youths tell MPs to never come home if they vote for Finance Bill

Hundreds of Gen-Zs went to the streets in Kisii Town on Thursday as anti-Finance Bill rallies shook the nation.
Protesters marched from Mwembe Estate to Daraja Moja, the town center of the Central Police Station, and finally to Kisii Referral Hospital. The protesters were primarily university and college students.

The young people holding placards criticized the Kenya Kwanza government and called for the finance bill to be rejected.
In addition, they summoned local lawmakers to oppose the bill and advised them not to come back to the county if they helped pass it.
"We don't have business with you, Osoro, so we are warning you—if you pass the bill, stay in Nairobi and don't come home," said one of the demonstrators.
The police provided security and patrolled the protest area, ensuring the protest proceeded well.
