In the Sabaki neighborhood, Maurice Mwaka, 45, was a custodian of a university don's apartment.
Mwaka had a conversation with the home's owner on January 27, 2024.
Before learning on February 2 that his body had been discovered in his improvised home at the compound, he had not heard from him.
When Mwaka's employer reported him absent for three days, the policies were notified.
When coworkers checked on him, they discovered the door was ajar.
Inside the house, they discovered his nude body with visible dog bite marks on his neck.
The body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy after the police were called, where they carried out initial inquiries.
